Real Name: Edward Nashton
Age: Mid 30s sure why not

Appearance: Enigma's a white human male with a slight athletic build. Has some severe burn scarring on his face. Likes to wear turtlenecks and more recently a high-collared jacket. He almost always wears a shiny metal half-mask cover the burned side of his face, and one might notice that from the front the mask resembles a question mark. While you couldn't tell just by looking at him, but Enigma's heart is actually on the right side of his chest-- his physiology is mirrored to people from most other universes. He also may be seen in a second form, a living shadow usually in a mostly-human silhouette highlighted by a bright green question mark.

History/Background: Enigma is an alternate-universe version of the Riddler, with a preference for heroism over crime. Earlier in his career he called himself the Quizmaster. Nowadays, he goes by Enigma. His wife and son were murdered by villains in retaliation for his constant interference. Edward managed to save his daughter's life by uploading her soul into a machine. He vowed to change the nature of his Earth by traveling to the positive-matter Earth, as causing destruction there could allow his Earth to be a better place where he could revive his family and live in peace. Despite gaining creation powers of a demigod, he ultimately failed. Out of sympathy for Enigma's daughter, Batman allowed Enigma to return home uncontested. He later decided to return to heroism, aiming to save his world by giving them hope.

Personality: Proud dad and smartass scientific genius with a good heart but little sense of tact or self-preservation. Sometimes makes very poor decisions.

Powers/Abilities: Changing into a shadow form, self-healing, can boost technology slightly maybe. General genius science nerd stuff.
